Delicious food - German home cooking at fair prices. Standard classics schnitzel, currywurst, meat skewers and daily changing lunch dishes. Tip: Thursday is Bone Day - Schäuferla and Haxn alternate ... Eat on the spot or to take away. The owner couple are friendly and always available for a chat - when the hut isn't on fire ?. A classic in Erlangen for real "boys' meal" for lunch and food like with mom.

Perfect at MABE

The Currywurst is delicious and the portion very lush. There are also fantastic Schnitzelbrötchen. However, one smells like fryer fat when eating in-house.

So the food is great as always. N schnitzel is always nice big and thick. On Thursdays it is a must to eat a knuckle. Top
